We Solve Murders

Title: We Solve Murders

In the beginning the action was so big and spectacular it reminded me of a Hollywood film with an unlimited budget. Put that into consideration along with the fact the author named the bodyguard company Maximum Impact? This immediately makes me think of Deadpool’s maximum effort… I have just made it past the good ol’ ‘100 page college try’ and thought briefly of giving up because it is just a tad over the top. Then again, so was Deadpool, but I watched all 3 of those all the way through, so in all fairness I shall trudge on through this outlandishness and let you know what I think when I come out the other side.

I tried really hard, but the story wasn’t moving along and although entertaining it wasn’t well plotted out. So, what I gather is there is a killer currently traveling around the world chasing some people. When he caught up with some people in South Carolina he was waylaid and then sent off to Hawaii chasing a bad tip and once he reached HI received new intel and is now on his way chasing some people to St. Lucia? That is the flight path the author concocted. I just googled it, and all told this trip would be just shy of a 12,000 mile journey, and the killer is still on the trail? And now there’s a ‘murder middleman’? (Yes, this story has a middleman for hiring out hit men.) I couldn’t anymore. The manuscript wasn’t super clear in the plot progression and it’s not up to my level of expectations. I give. I tried really, really hard.
