Title: Seeking Spirits

This story told the tale of the early days for the ghost hunting group, T.A.P.S. This manuscript was a running log of never-before-seen ghost hunting expeditions from the early days. It was quite interesting, and I learned a lot about the lifestyle of hunters of ghosts. Some of these accounts were kind of scary so I was unable to read it after the sun went down.

I did manage to learn many things that I didn’t know before about ghost hunting and the many technical devices used to confirm paranormal activity in a location. Once upon a time, long ago, in my formative years, I myself used to play as an amateur ghost hunter so I really appreciated the explanations and information provided.

Fun fact part I: Apparently, eating green olives will help an unwilling sensitive receive relief from their visions. Found on page 3.

Fun fact part II, page 111 ‘… Ouija was the Egyptian word for “good luck” …’ p. 113, it is claimed that ‘…if you’re going to use one of these boards, you should place a silver coin on it to keep evil spirits from passing through it into our mortal realm.’ But as the book states, do you really want to find out?

The one thing that bothered me was in one of the stories they found a wall full of satanic drawings, even included the name of a demon. I don’t think that’s a good thing to share with the general public. To my knowledge one is not supposed to even think the name(s) of a demon let alone publish it for the whole world to read. Kinda like in Harry Potter the main antagonist was the ‘one who shall not be named.’ Otherwise, this work was thoroughly entertaining.
