Title: Beyond The Wand
Tom Felton is the man who played the meany butt character of Draco Malfoy on the Harry Potter movies. I was really excited to crack the cover and read about the down and dirty deeds that go on behind the scenes of being the world’s favorite wizards.
I read a little ways into the book and what I gleaned is that Mr. Felton was using his childhood character to cash in on his notoriety as the bleach blond nemesis to Harry Potter. The book starts with a profuse apology to his mom and then describes in aching length and detail how he got away with stealing a CD to impress his friends. Seemed like he tried really hard to break free from the roll and to claim his individual identity. Talking about hiding the beacon of bleach blond that signaled him wherever he went. Wanting to blend into the ordinary and everyday However reading about trivial things he did in his ordinary life pushed me away. I didn’t want to hear about ordinary I wanted cat fights of the wizardry kind.
