Title: Beyond The Wand
Tom Felton is the man who played the meany butt character of Draco Malfoy on the Harry Potter movies. I was really excited to crack the cover and read about the down and dirty deeds that go on behind the scenes of being the world’s favorite wizards.
I followed along with Mr. Felton in his reliving of the good ol’ days of his youth as a popular child actor starting in commercials and evolving to the biggest meany pants of Hogwarts’ wizardry class. He had interesting tales to tell, however, I just didn’t connect with the characters and the humor was not a hit but a miss for me.
I did learn that on set when the cameraman says action and the actor dissolves into fits of giggles this is called corpsing. I assume the reasoning is that one is ‘dying’ of laughter?
