Title: Here One Moment
I read the first 45 pages. I felt like the story was off to a very slow start. I believe Mz. Moriarty was peppering her prose with an attempt at humor, but I did not get the jokes. What I did understand was there was a bunch of people on an airplane that was sitting stationary due to some ridiculously long delay and while waiting to get airborne one particular passenger was walking around the plane predicting how everyone was going to die and at what age.
Nobody stopped her? Nobody thought to ask her to take a seat and stop being inappropriate? For 45 pages? Turns out I wasn’t much interested in how passenger X, Y & Z were all going to die. Most of the predictions were lame causes of death set to take place far into the future in a setting far from this scheduled flight.
