Holy guaca-mole she did it again! This book was stuffed full of action scene after action scene. Again, Mz. Maas fails us not.
I still cannot wrap my head around how Mz. Maas is able to come up with not only such an intricately woven plot, but the back story to the history of this made-up land all the while remaining accurate in the telling. She is, as ever, on point, never failing to take our collective breaths away.
Dive into this book and take a ride with a coven of witches flying through the heavens and hills and meet starry-eyed lovers all whilst practicing previously untapped stores of magic and shapeshifting abilities. Everyone involved is honing their magical skills to prepare for the next impending battle against and alongside the evil forces that rule the lands. Who will come out on top?
