Title: Jurassic Park
Woooowwww! I loved this book. It was very reminiscent of my childhood. I remember being in 7th grade at a sleepover and we watched this movie as it was first being released from the theaters. I remember how the tension and suspense was built up so well that I actually jumped at one of the scenes.
I went into reading this a little skeptical. I expected the majority of the story would be dry and quasi boring while Mr. Crichton set up the back story on all the species of dinosaurs that were born to this island turned dinosaur theme park turned deadly. But I was thoroughly immersed from the beginning.
I want to say I learned all kinds of fun facts about dinosaurs whilst reading this tale. Such as the Velociraptors could jump great distances whilst stalking their prey. Also, Dilophosaurs could spit their blinding venom a great distance, effectively neutralizing the target so they could take their time enjoying their spoils. At least this is how the new ‘90’s generational dinosaurs acted.
Thankfully after the few survivors of this tale of animals gone wild evacuated the island the government stepped in and napalmed the heck out of the island, effectively sending all the dinosaurs back to where they came from. Or did they?
