Title: The Girl In The Glass Box

Mr Grippando crafted a very gripping and entertaining novel from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Not only that but I found it educational as well. I learned legal terminology I was previously unaware of, I also learned about an unknown disorder that happens in cases of refugees.

When I began reading this novel, I envisioned that it would be written like a trashy urban story. That was the impression I had gotten from the description on the back cover. Plus, the storyline is based in Miami, so the odds increased right there. Thankfully I was wrong, I would have never made it to the end if it had been so.

So, here’s the skinny, the plot revolves around a lawyer that is helping a woman and her daughter fight for asylum from their life of violence and abuse in Mexico.

Sidenote, although I do endorse this book, I must add that I quickly returned to the store for another book in the Jack Swytek series and was disappointed that another entitled Are You Afraid of the Dark did not live up to its predecessor.

In all, I highly recommend The Girl in the Glass Box by James Grippando. The rest of his books are at your discretion.
