Title: The Woman In Suite 11
Brava! My favorite author and reviewer of literature, Ruth Ware, does it again! I have been waiting in line at my local library for this book to drop and how excited I am to be the first to read it!
Mz. Ware brings back many of the characters from her smash hit Woman In Cabin 10, mainly Lo and Carrie. This time they are not on the high seas, but now that Lo lives in America with her adorable family she is overseas, working and visiting.
Who would have expected Carrie to show up 10 years later in a new posh hotel that will be featured in Lo’s travel article? Not only that but what she is about to ask Lo to help her accomplish is not for the weak of heart and if Carrie hadn’t saved Lo 10 years earlier (never mind Carrie was the reason for lives needing saving) than she never would have considered partaking in this ridiculous, over-the-top scheme to smuggle Carrie out of the country.
This story also begs the question; can we talk things into existence? The cover story for the early departure from the posh hotel is of the medical emergency variety. But when Lo’s mom for real goes in hospital for the same affliction as the excuse? It was a tad coincidental and a lot inconvenient, because a giant wrench has just landed square, in the middle, of some well-laid plans.
Follow Lo and Carrie as they literally, cat-and-mouse it, across Europe in a nail biting who-dun-it.
Fun fact: British slang shop means to report someone to the authorities.
