Author:  Steve Cavanagh
Title:  Thirteen

My favorite author, Ruth Ware endorsed this book along with Michael Connelly and Lee Child. Therefore, I just had to give this a go. I found it very well written with a good premise, being that Eddie Flynn, the lawyer in the book, was recruited to help defend a major celebrity accused of murder. Eddie Flynn believes his client to be innocent, which is the only reason he has agreed to help.

At the same time there is a serial killer on the loose. The serial killer was quite ingenious. He killed an unsuspecting jury member and assumed the jury member’s identity in order to infiltrate the jury so-as to influence the jury and ensure the accused actor goes down for his (the serial killer’s) crime.

My problem was I just didn’t feel a fire to get back to reading this book. So unfortunately, I’ve decided to pass. Better luck next time Mr. Cavanagh
